Who we are

Kékeré & Co is an Afrocentric fashion brand based in the UK. We are passionate about celebrating the beauty, creativity, and soul of African culture through timeless, handmade pieces.

The name Kékeré means “small” in Yoruba, a simple reminder that even small actions can create meaningful change.

Founded in 2020, the brand was born out of a desire to showcase the richness and vibrancy of Africa through authentic and sustainable fashion. Each of our ready-to-wear pieces is handmade with care, using premium-quality fabrics that are stylish, versatile, and designed to stand out whether you’re dressing up or keeping it casual.

We are more than a fashion brand. We are a social enterprise with heart, blending creativity, culture, and community impact into everything we do.

Our Mission

Our mission is to showcase the beauty of African culture and fashion while creating meaningful impact through ethical and sustainable practices.

At Kékeré & Co, we believe that fashion is more than style, it’s a story. Every  piece is ethically sourced and handmade by local artisans across Africa, most of them women, who pour their talent and passion into every stitch. Through our work, we aim to empower these artisans, promote fair trade, and build stronger, more sustainable communities.

Giving back is woven into who we are. A minimum of 10% of the proceeds from every purchase supports children’s charities and education projects across Africa. We are currently partnering with the charity, Ewaade Foundation on the Back to School initiative, helping out-of-school children in Makoko, Lagos, return to the classroom and and build brighter futures.
