Who we are

Kékeré & Co is an online Afrocentric kidswear brand based in the UK. We offer unique and authentic handmade ready to wear and bespoke clothing and accessories. Kékeré means “small” in Yoruba which is the language spoken in the south western part of Nigeria. This brand was established in 2020 by Bola, a mum of two boys as a way to showcase the richness and vibrancy of the African culture by creating authentic and sustainable fashionable pieces. Our clothing and accessories are made with premium quality fabrics, they are versatile and can be worn casually or for special occasions.

We are more than a fashion brand and we care about people and the environment.

Our products are ethically sourced and handmade by local artisans, mostly women in Africa. This is our way of supporting and making a difference in the community. We operate a zero wastage policy so all leftover fabrics are reused or donated to artisans so they can be recycled.

We are passionate about the alleviation of childhood poverty so a minimum of 10% of the proceeds from every product goes to support children charities and projects in Africa.
